Look at the cover of this book. Do you see the girl on the cover just standing there, minding her own business? Wait a minute! Is she standing or is she levitating? Somebody must have photoshopped that picture right? There is absolutely no way that photo is genuine. But what if? What if it is real?

Not only did Jacob's grandfather have stories, he also had photographs of the most peculiar kind. However Jacob isn't a baby anymore and definitely does not believe in 'fairy stories'. When Jacob's grandfather dies under mysterious circumstances, Jacob has a bit of a melt down. Jacob sees something or someone that has him utterly frightened. Jacob's parents are convinced that he needs to let go of the past. To do so they plan a trip to a remote island off the coast of Wales. This island is where Jacob's grandfather grew up. This island is the key to unlocking the mysteries that surround Jacob.
I absolutely love Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. Not only is it exceptionally bizarre and wonderfully strange it's also really unique. Jacob is the main character in this novel. He longs to unlock some of the secrets of his grandfather's past. On the island he discovers something more than he had ever hoped to find. Something so astonishing he can hardly believe it himself.
This book is full of fantastic characters. Ransom Riggs includes many photographs in this novel. I love looking at them. The photos are interestingly strange. They really added to the novel and the storyline. I could have done without the creepy clown children pictures though. The storyline in this novel is really good. It's full of mystery and adventure. It's quite a paradox. If this book is not in your to be read pile, you need to put it there.

This book left me a little confused,I wish there was a little more about Arizona Stevens and A little less running from one place to the next.It was rushed,I feel.She is a kick arse author,and I KNOW it could've been what I expected from it.On a good note,it was a Great book regardless,and I love the series.This is time traveling...some travel through dimensions as well,others require a portal.It has me very interested still,because I got to like Arizona Stevens...apparently there are TWO Arizonas....(said in the beginning)...that call,and than the ending is where I was like...NOOO KEEP GOING....so Now anxiously awaiting the next Book.She definately kept us hanging.I guess bottom line,sometimes that just drives me crazy lol

Nook Simple Covers???
I really need a nook st cover!I am loving my decal from www.decal girl.com.Its light blue,with a surfing fairy in the back.The blue is more of a torquoise,and it also matches the Ipad Decal I have...so sticking with that color.!!!

NOOK TOUCH
I finally CAVED and bought the Nook Touch,not nook COlor.I still have the 3g classic nook which sorry,I still Love.Maybe i'll be able to depart with it,for now I want it.It has to be sold,to somebody who loves to read as much as I do.It comes w a blue oberon Cover..Just saying!
Im off to see if oberon has a nook touch cover!!!That would ROCKI!!!
On a sad note,My Torch Cracked this weekend.LOL..I went to insurance and new one is underway!!!!

OH MY GOSH This BOOK is IT!I absolutely LOVED it! If you enjoyed hunger games,this is your fortre!Beatrice(trice) and all the people live in their own factions,candor,Dauntless,etc...(basically,truth faction,dauntless is Courageous faction etc).
At age 16 you take the aptitude test that tells which faction you belong in,and Beatrice testing turns....DIVERGENT....and must be kept a BIG secret!!She chased Dauntless and allas the novel starts.I simply LOVED it,and one of my FAVORITE books of the year!!!!FIVE STARS!!!Off to add second book to my list!!!SO glad the series is here!Id HATE to have to wait!LoL!

New Nook???
I am deciding...do I do I not,do I Do I not need a new ereader and if SO does it have to remain a NOOK??
I love my nook.I do love the Ipad but seriously,I dislike the backlit Lcd,talk about TOO much light for staring and reading for hours!It has a decent battery life(more so than nook color) esp when I turn off wifi and bluetooth which I am using RIGHT now,and have been for hours and the battery IS STILL at 83%.I say buy the IPAD vs the NOOK COLOR ANYDAY....but some like the smaller screen.Nook Color IMO is NOT technically an e reader.Its a tablet.TWO VERY different things.Its an awesome Tablet that promotes Ebooks after Ebooks!I am sure I'd love that too,lol,but Since I prefer reading with regular Paper lookalike /novel lookalike,the Nook is my Gig.
KIndle.There is a new Kindle coming out.I wonder wth??Its probably a tablet.Id LOVE if they came out with a tablet/eink Hybrid.You can turn off the Lcd/color and put on EINK at will...That imo is the future!!I'd be SOLD on that!!
Im debating on what to read next?I'm able to blog again thanks to the ZAGGMATE Keyboard that I got and I LOVE it!!!Yes,I love my gadgets.I have a cute Skin on it,and top it off,I'm looking for an IPAD skin,Or invisisheield<3
Ill be back later....Im on a Reading Goal.I Have to try to read 200 e books.I can read some books in a day sooooo tech ically I should do it!!

I Laughed and giggled through this book,Mary Mancusi knows the Mind of a teenage girl very well in this series.Here are two twins(rayne and sunny)...Ok,weird but it was enjoyable and recommended for YA thoroughly.I am an adult and paved through the book,and found the story cute,funny,and romantic.
Sunny became a vamp accidentally because Mag bit her instead of Rayne in a Goth Club.Sunny who is the disposition of a girly girl,pretty teen isnt too thrilled about the prospect of being a vampire.She is told that she can get it reversed by traveling to England and get drops of Blood from the Holy Grail,etc.etc..i don't want to give the whole book away but don't put it down because of the YA prospect of it.This is indeed YA,cute an d FUNNY!!!
Im actually getting into the series.I'm usually in much darker series,and mix YA along with regular adult Paranormal books,Romance,etc..I read every genre if it captivates me.:) AND this book did get my attention:)

DEMON GLASS..HEX HALLS SECOND SERIES
This is a FAVORITE.....
Demonglass picks up shortly after Hex Hall left off. Sophie Mercer attends Hecate Hall ,or Hex Hall as the students have come to call it; a school for delinquent Prodigium (witches, warlocks, vampires, werewolves, and faeries) who have had trouble controlling their powers.
In Demonglass, Sophie has decided to go through the Removal after discovering that she is a demon, not a witch like she always thought. The problem is that demons are rare (Sophie and her father are the only ones currently in existence) and volatile. Sophie has seen first hand what can happen if a demon goes rogue and she refuses to risk hurting anyone she loves. The Removal is the only guaranteed solution. It will strip her of all of her powers but it will leave her covered in purple tattoo like marks and could also end her life.
Now Sophie is off to London, with Cal (who I might add is delicious)and Jenna (her vampire best friend) in tow, to spend the summer with her Dad. He is determined to prove to her that the Removal is not her only option. If only that was her only dilemma. It turns out that Archer Cross, her former classmate and crush is an agent for The Eye, a group bent on wiping Prodigium off the face of the earth. Sophie hasn’t seen him since she discovered his secret and he fled Hecate. But rumors say he has been spotted in London…
The Eye has always been a concern for Prodigium. But with the discovery that someone is raising new demons, the Eye have become more aggressive then ever. A war is brewing and the ones responsible may be closer then they think.
Demonglass was fantastic! This installment is packed with new information and new riddles. Some family secrets are unveiled as well. Although I will admit that Rachel Hawkins doesn’t actually come out and tell you the last big revelation but I think you’ll know. And what YA book is complete without a little love triangle action? Cal really starts to become a contender for Sophie’s affections in Demonglass. I’m still rooting for Archer though ;-) Hex Hall #3 should be out spring of 2012. It will be a long wait but will you can bet I will be picking it up as soon as it hits the shelves......yessssssssssssssss

This book was Very Very good..Sophie must go to a reform school *hehe* her father is head of counsel.She meets a bunch of people(elodie and her witches) that want her to join their "coven".There is Archer Cross,who winds up being a big part of this novel.Jenna,her Vamp BFF..I can go on and on but don't want to add spoilers.This is such an EASY EASY read,I finished it happily in one day.The second Book,on the second day(another review).
I really LOVED this book,I was mislead.I thought it was going to be overly typical but no,it pleasantly surprised me and the teachers REALLY cracked me up!!GREAT JOB Ms Hawkins(writer)!!!I'm a fan of your work now!!SO PLEASE get the 3rd series out!!lol

A richly inventive novel about a centuries-old vampire, a spellbound witch, and the mysterious manuscript that draws them together.
Ok,I read two books after writing this,but this book was LONG!!It was a little bit dragging in the beginning.I loved the middle to the ending.Mattthew is awesome,and the Vamps are what I would expect them to be like.In this book,there are Witches,Vampires,and Daemons and this Transcript to be found.I love the ending and cant wait now till second part of the series!!!Overall,it was an interesting read.I recommend to my friends,with caution,If you're looking for a book,thats quick and easy to read in one day....this is not the book.:)

this is based on a true story,and the without writes erotica and I may give anotn of his books a chance.This was written well for an erotica memoir,I'm I'mpressed,The cover would of left me leavipng the book but since I read it on The nook and IPad,I didn't really see the cover first and decoded to try it put and the story sucked me right in.
I could not put it down and read it in a Day pretty much.I was a dancer and never thought of life the way she lived it.Amazing......and sad sad sad now she was bought up.
No wonder she went that road,Many women who go through that on their childhood have problems....I'd like to hear an update how she s doing.

I enjoyed the book but feel that this ebook could of definately been much more interesting.Illusions is appropiately titled,I suppose I should realize it's a young adult book so I have upped it to four stars instead of three.I read much about oh which boy should laurel be with,David or Tam....that took up a lot of the book in my honest opinionl
the ending just honestly made me mad.What was that???A total inappropriate ending to shell out ten bucks for and not have a complete book.I truley think I'm not going to read anymore ebooks when the author leaves such an unfinished book.Seriously,is that why it's called illusions??I love the story,the series but authors stop getting so desperate for your next sale.Endings likes that made it bluntly obvious.It is disloyal to fans and complete the book and leave a better cliffhanger than that!
I loved the Laurel series,I'm betting many readers are with me with that ending....I was like ok,finally we getting somewhere and POOOF!!!I say skip illusons,save your money and wait for the next book on the series.You aren't missing Nothing you dsont already know!

I have a set goal of two hundred books this year:)

I finished this morning,April 39th 2011.I can't say how much they captivated my attention....The Black Dagger Brothehood.I find I LOVE the mystery with each of th brothers who are warriors in the vampire world that are meant protect the world from the LESSERS,whom are created soul less walking dead that enjoy killing.
in the mist of this book,along with other characters and interesting twists,you find Rhage falling in love with Mary who is diagnosed with Leukemia for the second time,Rhage,as readers of the BDB series know,has a beast that lives inside of him.I do not want to add spoilers but this book was incredible.Vampires in this series are basically just a race of people in society.They prefer feeding from their mates.They are the good guys,not the scary killer so much as other vampire books.Humans walk around clueless that anything is amiss,They have th power to remove memories...so some things are similar after all lol.
I love how Mary n Rhage fell in love and I think I enjoyed this one more than Beth and Wraths story,but only a little more.
I give this book five stars and recommend to my friends.I cannot wait to read the third ebook,I suspect it will be about Zhadist.There's a bit of a cliffhanger at the end...the next book will clear that right up!!!I suspect these novels in this particular series will only get better and better which is going to be such a kick butt read!!

I truley n fully loved this series.....I cannot get enough out of these books!!
First I want to thank Kat for recommending this series to me. So far it's been exceeding my expectations and I hope it will continue doing so.
In this installment MacKayla Lane continues her search for Sinsar Dubh, a power Unseelie artifact containing the deadliest Fae magic. She is recovering from the ordeal she experienced at the end of the previous book and at the same time has to face the aftermath of her actions - Inspector O'Daffy is getting very interested in finding out more about the Dark Zone and why Mac is not going back home; Malluce's death is still uncertain; Rocky O'Bannion's brother, Derek, surfaces to poke around in Mac's business; and finally, a mysterious specter keeps following MacKayla around giving her creeps...
In my opinion, Bloodfever is even better than Darkfever. The Fae world is getting wider, Moning gets us deeper into the lore which is very exciting. We get to know Mac much better and I like her quite a bit. I like her humor and her upbeat personality, I enjoy seeing her grow and change and learn about her abilities. Death-by-sex Fae Prince V'lane is even more mysterious and his intentions toward Mac are unclear. Same applies to Barrons, who is a total enigma. The Mac/Jericho chemistry is off the charts! I simply LOVE these two. Jericho is slowly but surely climbing up the list of my favorite fictional hunks, but he'd better stop roughing up Mac if he ever wants to get to the top of it, because I don't care for this kind of thing.
All in all, a great book. It doesn't have much of a resolution in terms of the main story arc (which is not a problem for me), but the minor story arc is as interesting, intense, dark and edgy. I am planning to finish then whole series..just a few days!

You learn that they all have a heart and they mate for life. In this book you have the vampire Wrath the King of the race whodoes not want to be king. He meets with his best friend Darrius. When Darrius asks him to help his half breed daughter go through her change Wrath wants no part of it. He despises the human race. When Darrius dies from their enemy the Lessing Society not only does Wrath feel like he has to help Darrius' daughter but he contemplates on becoming the King the race of vampires need. This book is such a good read it is hard to stop reading it. I read in about 2!days and not only does hit have romance but it has fighting and a great story. This book has sucked me into the brotherhood. I cannot wait to read more.

Read bitter demon...and Hollowland
Wow, title songs like the book would be crap but no it was a very neat read.Started off with b shadow demons etc...its not over yet.
Its such a fun eady read with 450 plus pages, but I finished fast!
Now starting hollow land by amanda hockings! Go past third chapter abd it hooks you in...post end times zombies n ppl on the run.
Its so much brrrrrr than iyt sounds!!
Her novels ares like 99 c to 2.99$...
Good reading for great prices:(("?

Short life of bree tanner
This novel I read on my phone.Do a search on books and walla it popped up!!Right on the android market.I downloaded laputa to read this very short novel.
I was interested in what happened to Bree..twilight series ppl know about her death, but not what happened to her when she turned into a hungry vampire.Bella, was able to avoid that stage completely (which I sorta wish the author was more realistic, what vampire can do that....ohhh bella!!lol)
I do love the series and part five cannot get here fast enough.
Any way, bree falls for a boy, diego.They both discover that riley lied, or maybe he's not lying.....
They can go out in the daylight!!!!
Riley prepares therm for a fight with the amber eyes vampires, promising them blood of seattle.
They are breaking ALLLL the rules from the vulturi.I was surprised to read that they visited and knew that the fight was on!!I always wondered on the twilight series how they turned up that day!!
Bree never saw the were wolves....she heard when jacob got hutt that was it.I waa hoping that vitoria gets to converse with bree but never happens.
Interesting, is fred...he left for vancouver.I wonder where and how the author ies going to use him?? I'm betting he's going to fall for reneeesme???
Overall, riley was a jerk lol, and this interesting book was a superfast but fun reread.

I just finished the third, and actually thought different things that could happen etc....this novel was SUSPENCE!!! To the T! Sita, the last vampire in this novel finds out that she is not as indestructible as we IMAGINE!, or what she imagined!
She bonds with het grandaughter, pushes her to win the olympics by giving her some blood, she fights the telar,the iic, there's a source called the array....in and out..in and through this novel will not disappoint!I don't think this author gets the recognition he deserves because I love all his books.
Yea..I'm a stickler for paranormal lately.....
Eventually I'm going back to historical romance, suspence, and thrillers.

I read fantasy lover....sex therapist falls for a greek sex slave that was in a book (banished)...son of aphrodite.It was well written, but I think it was very predictable.
The second book was night embrace.
Illllll be finishing this one...its also very good, paranormal romance about talon.will up date on Sherrilyn soon,i loved her book , Archeron...which I have in paperback.That was one fascinating read that discusses 11000 years of archerons life.He is the dark hunters leader..

Night Star,
I really adore this series, five stars all the way!!!! Ever and Damen go through their usual love story.Ever really tsps into her powers here to bring down her enemy....that awful zm house of night , Nefferet who now turns dark and only wants to destroy ever and her friends dearly.
I enjoyed the story, its the fifth book in the almost over series.The house of night series last book comes out in November 2011.
If you liked twilight, you will love this series.I patiently wait till November......

My last few books...and do I get the nook color?
I am really enjoying having the nook, my husband not overly thrilled the of the time away the nook consumes of my days, when I'm reading:).....but there are worse things in life lol, and Its something I enjoy.I want to buy the nook color, I know in time I will.If not the nook color, than a tablet of some form.
I just finished a few books, so Image going to discuss the series from S.L.a. Naeole.There are four books in this series and where it was good....The story had a long feeling to it where the same story couldve been said in a quicker fahion.
The novels start off with Grace Shelly feeling freakish, tells her make jock best friend Graham that she's in love with him, and he dumps their friendship, while she literally feels awful about herself..she than meets beautiful Robert, who is an angel.The story goes so many directions, yet I stayed with it and enjoyed them. I rate the novels, three nd half stars.Teens would eventually give up, due to the long lingering effect each novel brings in the series.I loved the ending to a roberts and grace live.He is an angel, but death....Grace mother was an angel, who gave up her life so Grace can fill her destiny.Tread, and you well findout what it its.:)

15 years old love child.....
Happy Birthday to you!! I took ashley for her hair extensions and they look great!!! Bill bought her a gorgeous diamond tennis bracelet!!! Lucky girl!!! I love my dad, but that was always moms doing...lol
Right now ee have a huge storm coming this way, no school tomorrow!!ee will be saving up 350 a month now and that greatly cheers me up!!!

Unhappy
I'm just un happy, I feel no matter what I do its never ev ver good enough.mom came by, that wad nice till she cries cause of florida.I don't get what am I supposed to do when we argue so much right here, I hate arguments but there's one every day.If I'm not an equal partner I don't see us together like I did just last week.respect is a two way street, and I'm dealing with multiple personalities.
A on the flip side the holidays wee good, couldve been best...but naturally some folk can't stand the thought of any body being happy!! I don't really have a big family, I do have my parents.I love my brother and nieces and nephew but he's not allowed near me and has not been for years!!! Shoo, my own mamma is not over without hearing static for days on end and yes she lives to tell me all about it.Mom helps everyone the best she can, I'll give her that.
I'm concerned, my life was fine for years but right now I am not happy.I know there's no EXCUSE to be unhappy, but allas I tried for years and same old except once I had a best friend.....now its judgement day each and every day from the dishes to what my family does and how awful I am treated....disrespectful.
Maybe I deserve it, I do give respect but like bill says....I don't use my spine.If it wasn't for the girls, I'd be some where else.
Those daughters off mine, I love them dearly!!!!

Last two books
I just great awakened (house of night) last book (till november ughhhh) that series is good but it keeps getting drawn out over and over...9books!! Zoey returns from other world with stark, and the ending will surprise you and makes you wasn't the ninth book asap!!
The beautiful creatures did not thrill me, yet it was interesting.I kept expecting some thing different.I read all pages in ONE DAY, and it is a big book lol....it has to do with being claimed in witchcraft on the 16th birthday, and nobody in town likes lena.....the new girl, except for ethan.They are not meant to be together, and they do all sorts iud things to find a way ti stop lena from being claimed.
I disliked how shallow the ladies in town were, and I personally dislike the town kami described!! Eeek!
It was a good read but worth over ten dollars....no.
I'm off to pickout the next novel on my nookers!!!!

I finished quantum...
I am wishing momentum was out, the fourth book on the portal series but its not.I enjoyed it.They got better and better with each novel on the series.

The fifth vial
This was a week or a few books ago so memory will say this!!! I got this as a loaner from another nook lover!!! Thank you barnes n nobles, for that because I really really loved this medical mystery madness !!!!!!
Wow, organs for sale, crooked doctors, plato, characters that I truly could connect with and feel their pain.This is also the only book that had me thinking abbott caring for my health better as well!
This is an adult book, Check it out go to barnes n nobles and look for The fifth vial.All I can say its awesome...another great story.....thank god for books! If you don't read literature, you do not know what you are missing....trust me you are missing out lol.....

Hush hush and crescendo to my list!!! May I say those two books ee MARVELOUSLY WRITTEN!!!I give it fair and half stars!the book captivated me from the beginning, the very first page!! It was a mystery love story.Wowzers...the author managed to make both novels interesting and keep you on your toes till the very end.Quick synopsis.....Fallen angels and nepholim vessels,a handsome patch to fall in live with who is a fallen angel..i wasn't to write more but my phone ies going to die and SPOILER ALERT lol.I love book clubs because we read the story already!! If you haven't read this series I say go for it!!!

The portal...and its been a while
I made this blog to keep track of what I read and write quick thoughts about out do I can go back and recall it all.i spend much time treading and the nook had been a much used buy !!i have a four inch android phone so I even have the nook downloaded in my phone.Eventually ill get myself the ipad lol
Anyways,i just read The Portal...very cute, fast reading novel, easy reading and imo very young adult.I got it because the story got my attention.Arizona, who thought her life is in NJ, wales up in her moms hummer and finds herself in a whole different life!ts got quite a few laughs ology of me, it's very much a novel that takes you to a happy place, yet I didn't like her parents in the novel.Very irresponsible, the mother fell in love and created a portal etc.I would've enjoyed knowing more the story abbott the portals, but I'm guessing EQUILIBRIM will clear that up.This is the second book of the series.
I also downloaded for free friday DEADLY SANCTUARY, BY SYLVIA NOBEL.Ill update when I read that one.
As of right now there was approx 70 books I read last year, but now that its a NEW YEAR, and I have an awesome easy swpe cell phone,ill be writing every book I read.I may not get too into the story, but quick reviews to divulge into the past and catch up...lol
